La Maremma è la regione più meridionale della Toscana, tra il mar Tirreno e il cono vulcanico dell’Amiata. Maremma is in the deep southern region of Tuscany, between the Tirreno Sea and foothills of the volcanic mountain Amiata. This was the territory of the Etruscan and Roman civilazations and many sites in the area display evidence of their occupation. This is the territory of vast spaces, with the Uccellina Park, unending countryside, woods, unspoilt hills and hilltop villages. This land has lots of water (wetlands, termal waters, islands);

Maremma is unique with the sea and the rolling hills, the fields and the medieval villages, archaeological sites and museums.
